Kimberly C. Kinne

I work with children and adults to identify bothersome mental health symptoms that may be interfering with the ability to reach educational, personal and professional goals. I strive to listen attentively and take the time that is needed with patients while we develop a plan together. I use an evidence-based approach in recommending the appropriate and approved psychiatric medications to help alleviate symptoms that are causing barriers to living a joyful life.
My recent experience includes adults and children suffering from depression, anxiety, insomnia, psychosis, bipolar disorders, attention deficit disorders, trauma, detox and substance use issues. In addition, for 25 years I worked as a RN in medical settings, psychiatric hospitals, and women in residential care for eating disorders and substance use problems.
My goal is to work together as a team to focus on symptoms versus diagnoses. I believe that labels do not describe or define a person and once the interfering symptoms are identified, progress can be made. Hope is out there!
